Who we are and how we formed
Architects One Hundred and Ten Co., Ltd. was founded in 1971 by a group of architects, Mr.Yiam Wongvanich, Mr. Pongpun Pisalsarakit and Mr. Tamsak Ansusinha, at 110 Rangnam Road in Bangkok. The company’s name, 110. , was formed after the street number of our first office premise. 110 has become the numeric symbol of our prosperity since then. The company soon grew out of its original location and is currently located on 20th Floor of Sirinrat Building on Rama IV Road, one of fastest growing districts of Bangkok. The company still strongly practice building design and project consulting and will hold onto the profession as our core business.
What we offer
Our long history is the testament of our reliable and satisfaction consulting services to our clients. 110 provides a wide range of development consultations from project management to construction supervision, from self-learning center to high speed train station, from Thailand to neighboring countries; Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar and Vietnam (CLMV). Over more than four decades of our experiences, 110 has learned how to develop various different projects together with our clients and users. Every now and then, a few unprecedented design challenges emerge and bring in opportunities for us to create something distinct yet benevolent to the users. Such opportunity is what 110 has been built upon.
In which we are best
110 with more than 65 experienced permanent staff has completed more than two million square meters of healthcare facilities of both public and private ownership. Our expertise in healthcare design has spanned over 50 years starting from a modest general hospital and advancing into a tertiary medical center with medical college. As significant as healthcare, educational buildings and campus contribute to a large amount of our portfolio. Other functional building types are also part of our expertise. They are, for example, laboratory, library, train station, airport passenger terminal, border crossing facility, catering facility, etc. Several times, our projects are related to buildings that are more mundane as well as urbane like those of hospitality types, such as hotel, resort, health spa and sports & recreations. And lastly, residential type, such as condominium and single family houses, is the architecture that helps build our firm.
Why 110?
When clients collaborate with 110, their satisfaction comes first. The design process involves not only the owner but also the users of the building. Along a period of design collaboration, 110 discuss, analyze and create a design that would be tested by the owner’s expert team as well as the users until reaching a consensus. Significantly, the design services do not end at the completion of the building construction. After the opening commencement of the building, its operation and maintenance would be tended until the building can run smoothly and effectively.
Beyond the future with 110
110 believe that the quality of life depends on the built environment based on the design that takes wellness and lifestyle in mind. Emerging architectural trends that react well with today lifestyle and wellness draw 110’s attention. Preferred built environments that increase building efficiency, reduce energy consumptions and pollutions, encourage healthy lifestyle, support sufficient agriculture and conserve resources for our next generations, are the objectives of 110’s. Technically, today 110 is in the process of migration to the building information modeling (BIM). We can work on and deliver a version of BIM upon request. Future comes sooner than before and 110 is ready to respond when it comes.
